Quran Memorization
Quran Memorization should not be a race through new pages. This program balances new Hifz with correction and planned review so that what has already been memorized remains usable and strong.
Who this is for
A starting point that matches the learner.
Children and adults beginning Hifz, restarting after a break, or continuing an existing memorization plan with regular teacher supervision.
What you will build
Progress you can recognize in the lesson.
- Build a memorization pace that fits the learner's capacity.
- Recite new memorization accurately before adding more.
- Develop a consistent daily and weekly review structure.
- Identify weak passages early before they become persistent gaps.
Inside the program
A clear learning sequence.
Initial memorization and revision assessment
Daily or lesson-based new memorization targets
Teacher correction before passages are considered complete
Short-term and long-term revision cycles
Regular testing of connected memorized passages
How lessons work
Live teaching with direct guidance.
Each program begins from the learner's current level. Lessons combine explanation, guided practice, correction and a clear next step.
Targets are adjusted when retention shows that the learner needs more review. A smaller amount kept well is treated as better progress than a larger amount that quickly becomes unstable.
Your teacher
A teacher matched to the student.
Hifz students are matched with teachers who can track both new memorization and old revision, and who correct recitation before errors become fixed in memory.
Anas Bin Malik Academy works with qualified Egyptian teachers across Quran, Arabic and Islamic Studies.
Questions
Before you begin.
How much Quran will I memorize each week?
There is no single amount for everyone. The teacher sets targets according to age, time, retention and current level.
Is revision part of the lesson?
Yes. Revision is treated as part of memorization, not as an optional extra.
Can I continue from where I already stopped?
Yes. The teacher can assess your current Hifz and build a plan from that point.
