Respectful behaviour
Everyone should communicate respectfully regardless of age, nationality, language, background or level of study. Harassment, threats, humiliating language, discrimination and deliberate disruption are not acceptable.
Learning behaviour
Students should attend prepared, follow reasonable teacher instructions, participate honestly and avoid deliberately disrupting lessons.
Family communication
Parents and guardians should communicate questions, concerns and feedback respectfully through appropriate academy channels.
Professional boundaries
Teachers, students and families must respect safeguarding expectations and appropriate educational boundaries. Communication with minors should remain relevant to learning.
Privacy
Do not share another person’s private information, account credentials, lesson links or other personal information without permission.
Recording and publication
Lessons, images, audio or video involving teachers or students must not be recorded or publicly distributed without appropriate consent.
Responding to breaches
Where behaviour creates a serious learning, safety or safeguarding concern, the academy may discuss the matter, set boundaries, change arrangements or suspend access while the issue is reviewed.
