Before the first lesson
Prepare a calm learning space, a reliable device and working audio. Share the student’s current level, previous learning experience and goals so the teacher can begin from an appropriate point.
- Keep login details and private lesson links secure.
- Prepare books, notebooks and other learning materials before the lesson.
During live lessons
Students should join on time and learn in a suitable environment with as few distractions as possible. Parents or guardians may remain nearby when this is appropriate for the student’s age or needs.
- Do not record teachers or students without permission.
- Use academy-approved communication channels for lesson matters.
Supporting progress
Regular practice between lessons helps students retain what they learn. Families should review teacher feedback, encourage manageable practice and communicate when the pace or plan needs adjustment.
Safety and privacy
Protect account details and avoid sharing unnecessary personal information. Any communication, behaviour or safeguarding concern should be reported promptly through an official academy channel.
