Pointing out an error is only the beginning. Good teaching helps the learner recognise what went wrong, understand the correct form and apply the correction independently.
How it works
A correction should give the learner something they can use
In Quran recitation, the issue may be a sound, stopping point or Tajweed rule. In Arabic, it may be a letter pattern, word form or sentence meaning. Simply saying that an answer is wrong does not show the learner what needs to change.
The teacher can model the correct form, explain the important difference and then return the task to the learner. That final step matters because understanding becomes stronger when the student applies the correction personally.
Hearing or seeing the correct version gives the learner a practical reference for the next attempt.
The learner tries again while the explanation is still fresh, turning information into active practice.

The long-term goal is not for the learner to wait for the teacher to repair every attempt. The goal is to develop enough understanding that the learner begins recognising familiar patterns and correcting more independently.
